Speaker 3:Louis and.
Speaker 5:I'm D Matt, I'm Sean and I'm Jesse.
Speaker 2:We are the Wiseman. Thank you for joining us tonight. Tonight's episode. We are all four of us really excited. I'm excited to have Sean here. I didn't even know he was gonna be on the night, neither than I. It's. It's really exciting to have him and he's got like technology with him that is useful.
Speaker 3:I'm really happy about. I'll get there one of these days.
Speaker 4:It was so hard to keep the surprise.
Speaker 5:Was it? I was wondering why you had the boom stand set up.
Speaker 4:I'm like really was going on here. Yeah, gonna show up. I know I'm gonna show up.
Speaker 2:Alright well, tonight, if you're watching on Twitch, you already saw it before you logged in it's a mothman coming tonight. We are talking about the mothman and his comething. If you don't know who he is, he is a supernatural cryptid that exists with here all over the world. I wasn't saying United States, but he's been spotted all over the world. So, but before we get too deep, thank you for watching us on Twitch or podcasts. Follow us on. We got a YouTube channel. Ish, we're working on it. It's so new. They kicked us off a couple times for reasons unknown, but we're doing that. We have a Twitter. We or was it an X now?
Speaker 1:It's an X.
Speaker 2:It's X yeah.
Speaker 4:So, but we had the Instagram.
Speaker 2:Facebook. Follow us on Instagram Facebook and email us at the wise men at gmailcom if you want to X.
Speaker 1:X.
Speaker 2:All right. So getting into the mothman tonight, we can start by. For those who don't have never heard of it or heard it described the mothman, it's a creature. It's been reported to, it's been seen by hundreds, thousands of people. At this point, originally first, first reports I'd say 1966, correct? Does anyone have anything earlier than that?
Speaker 3:I just know it was in the 60s.
Speaker 4:No, yeah, 6667 was pretty much the main two years.
Speaker 5:I was going to ask you when we start off. You mentioned this earlier. You said the first 66, but didn't the Indians have something as well? Yeah or no?
Speaker 2:So there was a curse. Okay, that is purportedly connected.
Speaker 5:Okay, all right.
Speaker 2:But so 1966 was the first reports of the mothman. This mothman has been viewed as a bad omen for catastrophic events. This mothman is typically described over seven feet tall seven to 10 feet is the most of them having a grayish body. It looks like a man wearing a long coat until it unfurls its wings. Then it has huge wings. Also noted always, every time, is red eyes. So most people they don't always notice the wings at first, if I guess, if they're kind of laying flat on the on the creature and then it'll unfurl the wings and fucking take off flying.
Speaker 3:Jeepers, creepers.
Speaker 2:Exactly, it definitely makes me think of Jeepers, creepers as well, for multiple reasons, and we'll talk about that. Oftentimes, it's just that he's just described as a tall man with wings, so hey, appreciate the follow, Sparky, appreciate your brother Sparky.
Speaker 4:thank you, whoa.
Speaker 3:Sparky, let's go, my man.
Speaker 4:Yeah, and we will call you after the show. We'd like to do a follow for follow. So people that are watching you follow us. We will follow back, Absolutely.
Speaker 2:Nice. So as brought up earlier, chief Cornstalk, he was a Shawnee chieftain back in the colonial times. So in 1777, chief Cornstalk, his tribe and a bunch of other tribes in the area, the Delaware I can't remember. There's like seven tribes in the area. We're kind of fighting with the colonists at the time and they were going back and forth. Colonists were stealing land and killing Indians and Indians were killing colonists and fighting back and the colonists were known as the white men.
Speaker 4:The white man. That's what that's what the yeah, that's what the Shawnee, these tribes would relate to them and call them as.
Speaker 5:Why would they ever refer to them as white men.
Speaker 3:I can see it.
Speaker 4:I can see it, yeah, hey actually thank you for the follow brother. We'll follow you after the show, All right.
Speaker 2:So Chief Cornstalk though he was well renowned amongst all the tribes, he was kind of like a chief among chiefs, if you will, and he kind of was. He became friends with the, with the Colonials at that time and he kind of helped broker a piece between the two sides. At one point, because this was colonial times, the British were trying to recruit tribes to fight against the Colonials. So Chief Cornstalk and Chief Red Hawk from the Delaware tribe, along with Chief Cornstalk son, went to the fort there and point pleasant, and they tried to warn Captain Arbuckle, who is the commander of the garrison in that area at the time, and when they showed up they told him what was going on and Captain Arbuckle took them captive. So what kind of a dick move Got him. What a dude.
Speaker 3:Got him. What a fuck.
Speaker 4:I know he's actually going in trying to do something good. You know he's like trying to make peace, not letting you know never the death of everyone else in there.
Speaker 3:So the British are like hey, we're going to get your boys and we're going to turn them against you. And these guys are like yo, some shit's going down. Let me tell you about it. Why do you have those handcuffs out?
Speaker 2:This place is pretty nice.
Speaker 3:Well, you'll close it. That's pretty fucked up. Man that's fucking shitty.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so, but but his historical documents relate that they weren't like mistreated or anything. They were taking care of Chief Cornstock Still, even though they were technically captive. He was helping, like he was giving them intel on where red coat bases were in the area and, like they, he was still trying to help him out Throughout this time, though Well, I should say the reason that he took him captive was he was trying Arbuckle was trying to use them kind of like as a bargaining tool, saying, hey, we have your chief, we're going to hold on to him. If you start fighting against us, then we might have to do something.
Speaker 2:If you don't fight against us, then there won't be any problems.
Speaker 4:Yeah, and another thing too, like why they they also captioned too, is that cornstalk was also known to be like one of the most renowned warriors of the tribes, like at that time. So he was like a really feared, you know, component. But he was also even more feared because of his military strategic capabilities and his commandorship and all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 3:Warrior in a garden yeah.
Speaker 2:So, as all this is going on somewhere, the story goes that two soldiers they were on a little hunting expedition or just out hunting in the area they were attacked by some of the tribes. One of them escaped, one was killed, one the one that made it back, all of his buddies and friends. Local militiamen were mad as mad as fuck. They were pissed off. One of our guys just got killed. Against the orders of Captain Arbuckle they fucking took cornstalk Red Hawk and cornstalk son and fucking shot him. I can kill all three of them, but before cornstalk died he's lying in the fucking dirt in the garrison. He spoke this curse and it's a little bit long. I'm gonna read through the whole thing because I think it warrants it is.
Speaker 2:Oh wow, some. Some respect to this man.
Speaker 3:He definitely had time because he was shot with a fucking ball. Yeah.
Speaker 2:So he speaks this curse. He said I was the border man's friend Many times. I saved him and his people from harm. I never warred with you, but only to protect our wigwams and lands. I refused to join your pale face enemies with red coats. I came to the fort, your friend, and you murdered me. You have murdered by my side my young son. For this, may the curse of the Great Spirit rest upon this land. May be blighted by nature. May it even be blighted in its hopes. May the strength of its peoples be paralyzed by the stain of our blood. That was a death that is crazy right.
Speaker 3:Yo, I'm not gonna lie. If I heard that shit after I shot somebody, I'm fucking leave yeah.
Speaker 1:I'm going to you because he did.
Speaker 3:Thanks, but listen, listen. He didn't say a curse on the people that shot me. He just said the land I'm gonna be like. Oh, so fuck this land, I'll go find a whole new land somewhere else, yeah.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, well, white people are dumb in the times, apparently, fucking. First of all, I mean, I say white people, but like people, are dumb, especially when your boys fucking smart.
Speaker 2:Um so the other Indians, Red Hawk and the sun, were just dumped in the river Right, the Kanawa River. I believe Cornstalk though out of respect he was buried near the Fort at Point Pleasant Can't talk to me. Fort at Point Pleasant, Overlooking the Kanawa and Ohio Rivers there's a junction there. In 1794, Point Pleasant was established near the site of the Old Fort. So they didn't take the hint and leave In hindsight bad idea. They built it down New settlers.
Speaker 2:Yeah so since then there's a bunch of disasters that have included multiple deaths that have been attributed to this curse. And obviously if you know about the curse, then you'd be like oh I wonder if it was the curse. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. If you believe in that kind of thing, which kind of do sometimes also just seems convenient to blame it on a curse. Sometimes.
Speaker 3:I definitely do, I'm 100% there's been.
Speaker 2:No, I do but also some like some things that, um, like there was one, there was an airline crash that was like it was an hour away by car. It's blamed on this curse.
Speaker 4:Right, are you talking about the Marshall? The Marshall plane crash.
Speaker 2:So 1968 Piedmont Airlines crash near Kanawa Airport oh dude, so you didn't.
Speaker 4:You didn't hear about the Marshall airplane that crashed probably 30 minutes down the road off of the river the football team.
Speaker 1:I forget what small town.
Speaker 2:It was yeah, but I think it was like 75 people, I didn't know.
Speaker 4:It was in that area, oh, yes, in that area is crazy and everyone died.
Speaker 1:The Marshall football team is in that area.
Speaker 4:Marshall football team died in that area.
Speaker 3:Fuck out of here. Marshall football like we are Marshall. We are Marshall, yes, yes.
Speaker 4:Oh crazy dude, I didn't know that. Wow, yeah, dude Crazy. It wasn't exactly in point pleasant, but it was within the area, probably, I'd say, an hour car drive at most.
Speaker 3:I mean you're saying, this motherfucker is going into.
Speaker 4:Chicago Right the lands yeah.
Speaker 5:Dude, I'm gonna add on that later, the curses later. I wrote it down so I remember it, but there's a lot of Indian curses because of killing Indians and the Indians cursed the land. It's all over the country.
Speaker 3:Dude. Look at the yute and the yute.
Speaker 5:Yeah, the skin walker deal, We'll talk. We'll talk about that, we'll talk about that later Is it yute or ute Are you?
Speaker 2:sure it's yute, because I feel very my cousin Vinny, oh yeah.
Speaker 5:It's the yutes the two yutes.
Speaker 3:That feels that can't be it.
Speaker 5:I think it's yute. Yeah, that's too good, the Navajo. And then, anyways, we'll get and we'll move on. We'll come back to the curses. I can't wait.
Speaker 2:Alright. So in Point Pleasant there is an area and I bring this area up because a lot of the Mothman sightings were in this area it's called the TNT area of Point Pleasant. It got its name because during World War II there was a ordinance company or munitions. They built weapons factory during World War II, something or other ordinance company. I didn't write it down for whatever reason, but not long after World War II. After that it became a toxic waste disposal site and then, not long after that, it became a center of strange activity.
Speaker 5:Yeah, I'd say so yeah dude.
Speaker 4:There's been all kinds of crazy shit going on in this town, like paranormal sightings, ufos, all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 2:So we're going to start with the first sighting of Mothman. So on November 1, 1966, there was a National Guardsman who was on duty. He reports seeing a man with wings and red eyes. He was perched in a tree watching him and then within a moment he spread his wings and he flew away Like he was, just like he was there, and then he wasn't.
Speaker 5:Why are you? Are you misgendering him? Is it got? Why is it got to be a he we have no idea 1966 and there were only two genders.
Speaker 2:Oh, got me there, damn Mothman. Some were gone.
Speaker 4:Yeah, maybe it was the persona. Yeah, perhaps.
Speaker 2:Maybe he saw a moth dong hanging low.
Speaker 5:Furry moth dong. They never say he's wearing pants. That's very possible. They're probably too afraid to say the furry moth dong.
Speaker 3:So there's nobody that's going to say that they ran away from somebody who wasn't wearing pants, but they had wings. I'd be like dude, what the fuck is up with that? Yeah, I got chased away by a naked guy.
Speaker 5:It probably be the only one to mention that he has a huge furry moth dong Like he. It's crazy he flew away and he had a big flop and flurry moth dong.
Speaker 2:Well, I mean they did. Several women reported being mesmerized by the creature.
Speaker 4:They get this like what the seduction or like this telekinesis type vibe to them, or like they're kind of like in a trans they can't fucking move right.
Speaker 3:It's the red eyes and the furry dong. Seven foot dude. I bet he's got big hands.
Speaker 5:But did they? Alright, I'm not going to get into it. I'll shut up.
Speaker 2:On November 2nd 1966, so the very next day. This this kind of gets in weird and it's like connected, but not connected to Mothman, it's connected to a lot of other stuff. So November 2nd 1966, a gentleman named Woodrow, darren burger, was driving in the TNT area and he witnessed a craft landing in the road. So he stops his car, craft door opens, a gentleman gets out and Darren burger describes this gentleman as being an ordinary man of average height and build and dark hair I remember this and and he describes him as having an unusual and unnaturally wide grin. This gentleman communicates with Woodrow telepathically and he tells him that his name is injured cold in a grid cold and he is from the planet Lanulus Yep.
Speaker 2:Over the next few years cold would visit Darren burger several times. They became friends. I guess that kind of ties into a whole bunch of other stuff. The reason I bring it up is often times, and actually almost every time that the Mothman is spotted, there's also sightings of UFOs in the area and if you believe some of the things that are said about injured cold him and his family, these are the people that got out of the spaceship or the saucer, the craft. They are hunters of sorts, and it appears that they might be like their hunters of these cryptids and stuff, or maybe nefarious craft driving entities, if you will.
Speaker 5:Can I add to this real quick, go for it, mary. Hire. She a guy that you're about to bring up. A little bit later she was a writer for, I believe, the paper in Point Pleasant and she mentioned after one of the big sightings that the men in black visited her in her own office. So that brought I just thought of that right when you said that.
Speaker 3:I'm like, oh, that's so creepy, that is so creepy, the description you just kind of gave me. I for everybody. I don't really have a whole lot of like background in Mothman. I was joking with Louis. The only the only reference to it was the Mothman prophecies that when I worked at Blockbuster I restock the Buster times, that's you work at Blockbuster, that's as far as I got you.
Speaker 3:Jesus get the fuck out of here, jesse, you fucking get get off my lawn. But no, that kind of reminds me of just the description that Louis gave with the, with the grin and the kind of whatever it reminds me of, like the Slender man, kind of oh dear, yeah, yeah, really kind of what it reminds me of because I didn't want to say it, but it reminds me of the same thing, yeah this Slender man.
Speaker 3:I mean we won't go. There's obviously it's kind of it's got a ties in some way and I'm sure we'll end up getting into it, but it's got to tie into like Appalachian kind of folklore folklore it has to, and there's only there's not a whole lot of things that I'm like 100% I'm not going to fuck with, but one of them is anything dealing with Native Americans. Fuck, all of that. I'm not driving to skinwalker ranch. We're not doing that. Y'all can do that. I'm not doing that. No, you're coming with us. No, for that, all of that.
Speaker 5:I took 100 miles. He didn't come to Vegas Did he no, no no no, no, no, no.
Speaker 1:I went to fucking Moab.
Speaker 3:I went to Moab and Tiffany was like oh yeah, that thing that you and and your, your friends, were talking about, is pretty close. Do you guys want to? Do you want to go there to just kind of get a couple of photos to make them jealous? No bitch, I don't want to go there to skinwalker ranch. Fucking crazy you out of your mind. I'm not fucking with anything Indian. I'm not fucking with anything Appalachian, like there's a creature that I still keep a fucking yeah, a broom above my door.
Speaker 4:No, I mean. I'm with you too, like the Indians, kind of freak me out too with all like this seance is and the the occultish type, whatever rituals.
Speaker 5:but let's move on. I'm not want to get into all that. I want to get into all that too.
Speaker 3:Sorry, I'm afraid of shit.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's fine. It's interesting that you bring up slender man like. When I read the description of of Andrew Cole, it reminded me of some of the descriptions of men in black themselves that they are exactly ball. Lender. Yep, kind of awkward looking weird grains on their face, but so I don't know. It reminded me of that too, so that same night though hit my mic.
Speaker 5:Ingrid.
Speaker 2:Cole is men in black.
Speaker 5:We figure that out. We've solved that problem.
Speaker 2:So that same night, two men, they stopped their vehicle. They see again on a different road a little farther away. Two men, they stopped their vehicle. A man walks out of a craft. Same kind of same situation Comes over, questions them. Same night A woman in the next town over sees a bright flash of light in the sky and later on a cylindrically shaped ship lands in a parking lot. Two men walk out, ask some questions in a strange dialect, get back in their ship and leave. All of that happened. So November 2nd.
Speaker 5:Damn, it is men in black, isn't it? That's men in black, bro.
Speaker 2:Well, it was men in black was termed by guy we're going to talk about later, John Keel. He's the one that contains the phrase men in black.
Speaker 5:So it's not Will Smith and a Lincoln with the Tom, tommy Lee Jones.
Speaker 2:It could be if you watch those movies, they are able to travel back and fly and then flash your memory.
Speaker 3:Yes, Did I know? Side note Did all of this you guys keep talking about like November and like kind of like fall time? Is this all like Halloween kind of era?
Speaker 5:Oh, he's trying to connect the dots All folklorists fake.
Speaker 2:So a lot, of, a lot of the a point pleasant stuff happened in this time frame, but it's not only in that time frame.
Speaker 3:I'm not saying it's fake. I'm saying I don't want to get fucking caught. It's almost October. I'm more of a pumpkin spice latte kind of person, Not a get fucked on the side of the road at the kind of guy Dude you're.
Speaker 2:Well, there's good news, which I'll explain to you later. So, as you can see, this area is known a lot for UFOs, strange sightings goes, paranormal activity Moving on. So that was November 2nd, november 12. There was three grave diggers that were working in the cemetery one evening and they report hearing a noise overhead and they look up and they see this large winged creature with red eyes and the body of a of a man flying overhead. Couple days later, two couples, a no-transcript. I wrote Lind I think it was maybe Lindsay Cindy, roger and Cindy. I forgot some letters Roger and Cindy, scarborough, scarbury, and a Steve and Mary Mollett. They were driving. They decided they wanted to go for a ride. So you know, 1966, it's a. You go cruising with your friends, right? You go cruising, yeah. So they go. They're driving through the TNT area and they see a tall man in the road. This tall man looked like the descriptions of the mothman Tall, red eyes. This thing's wings pop out. Gares the shit out of them. Roger floors it gets the fuck out of there.
Speaker 3:Yeah, as I would too, that's a good name, but they thought they lost it for a while.
Speaker 2:They lost it momentarily. Next thing you know they're driving, heading towards town. Again they see it perched on top of a billboard. Sorry, let me back up. When they lost it they took off town like a country road, which in that area I feel like all the roads are country roads, but that's how the story goes. And then they decided they thought they lost it and they're like we need to tell the cops about this. So they start heading back to town. They see it perched on top of a billboard as they're on their way to town and they're like, holy shit, it found us again. So he guns it, he's going into town, he's doing 40 miles an hour.
Speaker 2:This thing launches straight up into the air and starts chasing them as they drive there. The story goes that they reached 70 plus miles an hour. This thing's keeping pace with them and all they hear is loud, loud screech. And they're looking and it's behind them, it's following them. They get up to 100 miles an hour and this story to me gets a little hard to believe. I don't know if you guys have ever driven roads in Virginia, like, even on straightaways they're not that straight. You're not doing 100 miles an hour on these roads without dying.
Speaker 5:What about this one, though? Once a day paved?
Speaker 2:It ain't happening.
Speaker 5:Give them a break, though. There's got to be one of those roads out. What road was it? Look it up right now on the Google Maps.
Speaker 2:Point Pleasant West, but it's not going to be. We'll give them the benefit of that, we'll go with the story. I'm just saying it seems a little suspect, it's in West Virginia.
Speaker 3:Right yeah, zero chance. You're not getting over anybody that drives over like 85 miles an hour in West Virginia. They're dying.
Speaker 2:I mean, it can happen. You just got to really know these roads.
Speaker 3:It may be they do it for a fucking long time. I can promise you that.
Speaker 4:Yeah, but you're flying away from a fucking Falcon.
Speaker 5:Yeah, you're going away from a exactly. I've been going pretty fast on back roads in upstate New York.
Speaker 4:Listen, jesse, you flipped a fucking car, we know.
Speaker 3:Brother, you're talking about Buffalo. No, I'm not talking about.
Speaker 5:Buffalo.
Speaker 2:Alright, moving on. So they eventually do like the creature does either they lose it or it just gives up chase. They make it to the police station and they are shocked at that point to find out that the cops say oh yeah, we've been getting sightings of this thing all around the area for weeks now. And they're like well, fuck Well fuck.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so that was November 15th. Moving on in the timeline, November 16th, a Marcella Bennett. Around 9 pm she's leaving her brother's house with her daughter. She's walking to her car and as she's walking on the car she sees legs. And then she starts looking up and she sees the rest of the creature and she freezes and her brother is yelling at her from the porch like you need to come on now, Get back to the house. God, she's just stuck staring at this thing. It unfurls its wings, it scares the crap out of her. She ends up dropping her daughter. The brother comes off the porch, grabs her and his niece and gets them back in the house. As that happens, the creature like launches towards them. But they made it back into the house safely and it starts like shaking the doorknob and making noise on the porch.
Speaker 3:Motherfucker dropped a daughter.
Speaker 5:Yeah, damn, makes this story more real.
Speaker 2:Yeah, makes it funny. At least November 20th it says 15 people saw the Mothman on four separate occasions in that area. November 21st there was another sighting 25th. Another sighting on the 26th Seven people saw it on five different occasions. On the 28th, a Phaela Port and her brother. They were visiting the TNT area on purpose. They were trying to find this thing, but it found them instead.
Speaker 4:Well, how convenient. Bum, bum, bum.
Speaker 2:So when they came up they said they were driving up. They parked and it showed up like right in front of their car. She says she saw glowing red eyes and it was like nothing she'd ever seen before. She didn't notice any wings at first. The brother starts driving away as fast as he can. She says it caught them, it was running next to them, it caught them and it jumped on the hood.
Speaker 5:So it was running, not flying.
Speaker 2:Yes, it was running Well. After it jumps on the hood, trying to remember the whole story. It jumps on the hood, brother keeps driving, they stop and they're just staring at it. It's on the hood and they're just staring at it. Next thing, you know, wings come out. It flies off. Oh shit, brother. The story goes this. Even saying this gives me a little bit chills, because this would be like holy fuck, brother gets out of the car and they're looking around trying to find it. They find it on the like on the top of a building, a little bit of ways Just perched there staring at him. Brother's out of the car and he like picks up some pieces of coal and stuff and starts chucking at it Like shoo, get out of here. Like be gone, gone.
Speaker 4:Now it doesn't say how far away is this thing? It's got to be throwing distance right Throwing distance you would think I don't know.
Speaker 2:West Virginia coal mines? I don't know so he did.
Speaker 5:He thought he could throw farther than he did.
Speaker 2:He was like see that mountain over there I throw his football quarter mile.
Speaker 5:Napoleon dino.
Speaker 4:Throw a sidearm underneath. Oh, all right.
Speaker 2:So the week after that incident with Fela Port, it was seen by another 18 people, 18 different people 18, you baby. Yeah, so this thing is being seen all over town. For where we're at the 28th, at least, this is a month already, right?
Speaker 5:This is one month in the same year these people have been seeing this same thing all over the same town. Yes, and so these are the accounts 100, and how many there was. Oh, you, never mind, that was different.
Speaker 2:That was a different thing. Yeah, right now we're, we're, we're at a whole bunch right now. I'm not entirely sure.
Speaker 5:Right Couple thousand.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so that's just in November, after first was cited 13 months after the initial sighting. After people seeing it all the time, there was an incident known as the Silver Bridge disaster. So the Silver Bridge was a bridge that connected Point Pleasant to Ohio. On it was point Pleasants on the Ohio River. I can't remember the name of the town in Ohio. One of you guys wants to look?
Speaker 5:it up.
Speaker 2:Oh fuck.
Speaker 3:Sorry, sorry. So I'm all of a sudden everybody's on their phone.
Speaker 2:No, I just.
Speaker 3:I just happened to know, I just happened to look up the TNT area because I wanted to be. Oh, where's this TNT area fucking located? It's the Mick, whatever the fuck wildlife preserve, or whatever the immediate adjacent road, what is that? The Matt Potters Creek Road?
Speaker 2:Oh, you're putting, no wonder you're here tonight.
Speaker 5:Yeah, is that? What? Is that the road you live on currently? Synchronicity no.
Speaker 2:Potter is.
Speaker 3:Potter is my last name and my family is not super, super far away from that.
Speaker 1:In.
Speaker 3:Pennsylvania is really where they're like that's their shit, but Potters Creek Road. I hope to God that I have nobody of relation in West Virginia, but I know that can't possibly be through.
Speaker 5:There's lots of Creek roads, by the way, but you, yeah, you do. The Mothman's probably waiting for you outside right now.
Speaker 3:My uncle is probably the Mothman fucking.
Speaker 1:PCP.
Speaker 5:He's hanging a furry dung. Yeah, does your. Yeah, oh God, yeah.
Speaker 3:I'm not very furry, but part of me is.
Speaker 2:All right. So this silver, the Silver Bridge. So on December 15th of 1967, so 13 months after the initial sighting During rush hour there, this event happened. Traffic gets stopped on the bridge. All of a sudden people start hearing this super loud screeching noise. The bridge starts shaking. If you can imagine what steel trusses and high tension steel cables sound like when they start ripping apart. It's got to be terrifying. Before anyone could respond, people start running the bullet, the bridge starts collapsing. By the end of it, 36 cars ended up in the river. And this is December, so it's cold. Oh yeah, 36 cars are end up in the river. 46 people dead men, women, children, all the above. Some people were able to escape that ran, but if you, if the cars went in or the people fell in, they did not die. So it was 44 people Found dead. Two bodies were never recovered.
Speaker 5:And we're so okay. This is what's suspicious to me. It's like wasn't it a rural area.
Speaker 4:I mean probably early on it was, but it started to get.
Speaker 2:Point Pleasant wasn't established. Yeah, like I wouldn't call it like Dude Jesse, so it was like it was like Geneva, but like like in our parents days.
Speaker 4:I would say that's how kind of like Point Pleasant was oh.
Speaker 5:Now it's like Older parents, oh well, I mean, we're talking about a town of what, probably.
Speaker 4:What would you say, louis? Like, maybe, at the time, 25,000 people. Yeah probably in the 60s maybe, or something like that.
Speaker 3:But there's all I mean. It's a major, there's a major river that's in Point Pleasant.
Speaker 2:So like it's not, I mean that bridge is like connected the two states to travel.
Speaker 5:Okay, so it was. That's what I was wondering. I was like, why is there so many people on that bridge?
Speaker 4:But it was a fairly big bridge and it connected two states and the traffic slowed down too, so kind of like I probably bottlenecked in a way.
Speaker 5:They would have had to been yeah.
Speaker 2:So some reports In the week. In the week prior, people were reported having a feeling of unease in the area the week before the collapse and purportedly allegedly I mean these photos technically exist, but two photos were taken about a week before the disaster that show a bat like creature on and flying near the bridge. So, yes, so one of them has. Can you screen share, let me? Let me try and find this real quick.
Speaker 5:I can really quickly if you guys can.
Speaker 2:Yeah, If you can find it.
Speaker 1:I'll just keep talking. Yeah, keep talking.
Speaker 2:One of the pictures has like a dark object perched at the top of the bridge and the other picture has what looks like a winged creature flying off.
Speaker 5:And these pictures are, I mean.
Speaker 4:I don't know how real the picture is, but my God is a kind of convincing.
Speaker 3:This is very scooby-doo-esque. It's creepy.
Speaker 5:It's very large too.
Speaker 4:Let me try some of this. It's this, you got it. So are these, because I have one here?
Speaker 5:Yeah, just do whoever's got it first.
Speaker 3:Do you want sweeter? Do you want a little bit more, like I class with?
Speaker 5:I'll do this one, sorry, go ahead boys. Yeah, no, who yes?
Speaker 4:We, we, uh, oh, we, oh. We share on the stream. I'm going to watch it. Let's get Do a little screen share here. Okay, let's check out what.
Speaker 1:Louise got. In there. There's like two pictures together and one of them.
Speaker 5:The stream paused.
Speaker 3:No, no, no. I don't know why it was by one. Get them.
Speaker 2:I don't know what's happening.
Speaker 4:Ah, there we go Okay.
Speaker 2:I got you. Well, there is that.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 4:You're tripping right now Same.
Speaker 5:Same picture.
Speaker 2:I see this thing right here is obviously just a drawing.
Speaker 4:Yeah, right, right.
Speaker 2:Imagination is one of the pictures. It was purportedly taken, and so they have that little zoomed in and it looks like something hanging on the wings. It looks exactly descriptions. Yeah, In descriptions of the moth man they like. Some people will say, um, looks like bird wings. Some people will say it looks like bat wings. Uh, there's a lot of both.
Speaker 3:I did see that. I did see that most people. So I did see that most people, like most locals, don't refer to it as the moth man. They just refer to it as the bird or the interesting I mean, look at the size of that thing in, in.
Speaker 4:in comparison, in comparison to the bridge, I mean that's gotta be probably eight foot tall, Maybe.
Speaker 1:I would say it's maybe nine nine foot tall.
Speaker 4:I would say it's like that Like that humanoid part of in the middle, you know.
Speaker 5:Yeah, I would say it's much, much larger than six feet You're, you're looking at, look at how big this is. Yeah, imagine a car. It could be 80 feet tall.
Speaker 3:It looks about the length, so just looking off of half ass, guesstimate, it looks about the length of a little bit more than a road. Like the length of a road, no, like the length of. Like a lane of a road, maybe a little bit more than the width yeah, the width of the road Okay. That's a good point so.
Speaker 2:I'm looking at the bridge, this guardrail right here where the mouse is. I don't know if you guys can see that, or?
Speaker 5:not Four and a half feet, probably five foot, I would probably put it about four and a half feet tall.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, like if it's a guardrail, like back then, they didn't build things necessarily to keep people from jumping.
Speaker 1:Like they just assumed you weren't going to commit suicide.
Speaker 2:So if that's like four and a half feet tall, if you take it all the way down here, it's about like that maybe double it. I think it's about as tall as that thing. Okay, I mean, I had a good guess.
Speaker 5:I had a good guess, boys, maybe, maybe, 10, like a giant, I'd get it, I'd get it, I'd get it, I'd get it, I'd get it, I'd get it, I'd get it. And then you get a little bit of a huge thing. Well, you know what, if it did have wings, the wings were much like. If they expand, obviously, they're going to be twice the body length, at least right. So 18 foot wingspan, yeah.
Speaker 2:That's insane, dude. All right, so for those who are listening, we just discussed the picture of the bridge prior to the fall, prior to the silver bridge disaster. There's a image of the mothman hanging off the side. All right, how do I get rid of this thing? Now I'm going to go over here. Where's my mouse? What's going on?
Speaker 5:I'm streaming Dude. Everything's fucking huge.
Speaker 4:Oh gosh, I almost had a seizure right there, oh my gosh. Sorry, the flickering from the screen Ha ha, ha, ha, ha ha.
Speaker 1:D All right next picture I'm going to share is the Mothman's DONG.
Speaker 5:I'm sorry, ha, ha ha.
Speaker 3:It's just a picture of Jesse's DONG Son of a gun.
Speaker 5:That's it Just a picture of my ass cracked. Just kidding, I'll shut up now.
Speaker 2:Ha ha ha, it's all right, All right. So since no one could figure out what this thing was, some people started to speculate that possibly this thing was an alien creature. Right? Since no one had ever seen one before, why not be an alien? Right? It's coming to visit us and terrorize us. There have been many UFOs cited in the area. This area is known for several UFO flaps in the past, I believe.
Speaker 3:How far away was this from Roswell?
Speaker 2:The other side of this country.
Speaker 3:No, no, no, no, I mean like timeline-wise 20 years.
Speaker 5:Was it 20 years?
Speaker 2:Roswell was 46? 20.
Speaker 5:Yeah 20.
Speaker 2:Okay, roswell was right after World War II. Finish. Like couple years after World War II.
Speaker 3:Okay, 46. So I'm forming an opinion, right now.
Speaker 2:Okay, keep it to yourself. See you later.
Speaker 5:Write it down. Bring your notebook out.
Speaker 2:Yes. So during this time, while these events were happening, there was an author, a well-known ufologist and a paranormal researcher. These are all the same person, these were his titles. He visited Point Pleasant. His name was John Keel. He is most well-known for his book, the Mothman Prophecies. They took this book and made the movie Mothman Prophecies. So he spent months researching the events that happened. He visited the town. He spoke with that lady. What's her name? Mary Jesse.
Speaker 5:Oh yeah, mary Hire, yeah, yep.
Speaker 5:Mary Hire was kind of his informant in a way. Yeah, so Mary Hire, I think she wrote for the Point Pleasant town newspaper and I think she just was getting the testimonials from everybody in town. So she was like the insider for him and she was, you know, she gave him all the connections so he could go around and kind of get his, you know, interviews with these people. So yeah, she was. She died. The crazy thing about her is she died in like 1970. So she died. You know, she got all into this stuff and then she died out of nowhere. It's kind of weird, but she had her, you know, she had her connections in town and he was. That's how I think that's she's the one person that. That was her person. That was John Neal's in with this story. That's how he got connected with her and she, yeah, like I said earlier, she said she was visited by men in black.
Speaker 2:Okay. So she was very important to the research that John Keele did in in this, in this whole event, so he spent months researching this event. While he was researching the event, he also stated that he started being followed by men in black. People were following him yeah, trying to break into his stuff, stealing his mail, opening his mail and then returning it opened no crime.
Speaker 4:What the fuck.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Well, in black they do it too.
Speaker 5:Yeah sure that happens to me. Just to say that publicly that happens to me. I get a lot of my mails already open, not kidding yeah.
Speaker 1:They're coming after you. I'm not even not even kidding.
Speaker 5:I don't think they're coming after me. They want my birthday money.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:So you know that's what it was.
Speaker 2:He started receiving mysterious voice messages on his answering machine, but his phone wouldn't ring. His message would just show up on his answering machine. He says he would get phone calls where he'd answer and nobody would be on the other end of the line. And the other weird thing is he started experiencing severe headaches that just got progressively worse and worse and worse and then, after he stopped looking into this case like when he was done, that's when the headaches went away.
Speaker 4:Plus I hit him with the headache gun.
Speaker 5:Direct energy weapons yes.
Speaker 1:Stop.
Speaker 2:One of the things that one of his theories was that, while other people started thinking that we're speculating that these were aliens and extraterrestrials, he came over the idea that they were ultra-terrestrial.
Speaker 1:What the wait what does that mean?
Speaker 5:That man in black. Ultra-terrestrial. That is legitimately the first that sounds made up.
Speaker 3:That is the first time I've ever heard of such an ultra-terrestrial.
Speaker 4:It is, it is. It is an ultra-terrestrial. It's made up in a way to where, like, I want to know more about it. So speak now.
Speaker 3:Have you ever seen?
Speaker 5:I'm glad that you asked.
Speaker 3:Have you ever seen Tenaecious D and the Pick of Destiny.
Speaker 2:Yes, it's a great movie, it's not supernatural, it's supra-natural, it's not extraterrestrial.
Speaker 3:That's funny. You're not being extra, you being ultra-terrestrial.
Speaker 4:It's ultra-terrestrial, so ultra-terrestrial. Okay, so give me the foundation here, give me the groundwork here, all right.
Speaker 2:So he says that an ultra-terrestrial this is hard to say. An ultra-terrestrial A UT, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a, ut, a UT is an entity that is from Earth but exists in a different dimension, so it can materialize and dematerialize at will in different places.
Speaker 4:Wow, you're speaking the language. You're speaking the middle language. That's crazy.
Speaker 5:That's crazy Different dimensions, what's going on?
Speaker 4:Yeah, that's a skinwalker. I'm thinking hollow Earth.
Speaker 2:All right, we'll get to that.
Speaker 4:Okay, I adjusted my career on hollow Earth. Tickle my mind right there for a second Tickle the mind.
Speaker 2:But these UT's do this by adjusting their energy to match different vibrations, allowing them to appear or disappear. Okay, so real quick.
Speaker 4:For the listener. Understand that everything in our creation, everything that is in front of you right now, if it's a, you know your bed, your TV, the ground you were in, you know the ground you walk on everything functions off of a frequency and vibration. And this goes all the way back to like the string theory, and we can get into this a whole another podcast. But go ahead, because you just kind of tickled my mind even more.
Speaker 5:Yeah, you tickled the shit out of my mind as well. Yeah, the vibrational stuff Okay.
Speaker 4:So thanks for the follow. Man Appreciate you, we'll follow you all Once the show's finished. We said stunts.
Speaker 3:I fucking love you. I love you, fuck you. I will give you my number, I will give you my fucky All right.
Speaker 2:So he goes on to discuss how different he believes these creatures have existed, that this isn't a new phenomenon, we're just kind of discovering it ourselves if you will right, so that ancient cultures in the Middle East, the Greeks, everybody, had their name.
Speaker 2:For one of the specific ones, two that caught my eye that he brings up is he compares them to Jinn, which, if you don't know, jinn or Genies, essentially Middle Eastern culture. Jinn, they are entities that actually existed, but they are able to manifest and appear or disappear at will. They have a base. I mean, for lack of a better word they are described kind of similar to the Mothman. I don't remember ever reading a Jinn having wings, but red eyes, yes, gray bodies.
Speaker 4:So real quick, real quick, if I could just interject real quick. So you're talking about Jinn. That relates like if you trail the etymology and all this kind of stuff, it leads to genius. One thing I was reading about Socrates is that he was known as a genius because he had a Jinn, and when he describes in his well, I don't think it was Socrates that wrote this, but it was referred in another book of some I can't exactly remember the name, Aristotle or something like that, but they described I'm sorry, Socrates described that he had a daemon or a demon that was helping him give him all this knowledge and all this knowing and all this stuff which helped him in the end become this genius that he was, helped him evade and escape.
Speaker 5:Nicholas Estlis had something similar too.
Speaker 4:Yeah, they helped him evade and escape from death and certain things, because people were trying to come after Socrates and kill him.
Speaker 2:And things like that. He was saying stuff that went against the grain.
Speaker 2:So go ahead. No, that's good. So he also talks about how their areas in the world with high paranormal activity like this that have UFO sightings, ghosts, other paranormal stuff Oftentimes the moth man will be seen there Other cryptid and paranormal creatures are often sighted. He calls them windows and he believes that humans are able to manifest these gin in that area, because that's how gin are like. They show up because someone called them right, but he says he says that even though the Middle Eastern cultures call them gin, they're like these same things exist in, like Western culture, but they're known as the dark watcher and sometimes, which makes sense, the way this thing perches and is always like peeping on people. Also, shadow people are known to be jigs Shadow people. Are we talking about shadow people? That?
Speaker 1:I've ripped the oaths from Okay, yes.
Speaker 4:Okay, go back to the demon possession episode.
Speaker 2:You'll figure out what I'm talking about people, but he says, because they, these creatures and entities, tend to show up after people start thinking about them and in these window spaces, that window areas, the hotspots for UFO. So like we as humans, are actually manifesting all these things to happen is what he talks about.
Speaker 3:Oh man, this is this, it brings it.
Speaker 4:It brings it back to you know chief corn stock, kind of brings it back to where maybe he had set this curse who knows how long it's going to last but maybe it riled up these entities that wanted to kind of take this initiative to, you know, pursue some, or kind of pursue the granting, for you know someone that has worshiped them for a long time, like, for example, like the Shawnee or the tribes and things like that, like they were known for a cultish type, you know, religious activities. So it's only like a what we would consider a cultish, yeah, religion.
Speaker 4:Right, well, cultish meaning like outside of the normal. Time space matter type understanding like their entities, things like that, whatever.
Speaker 2:Right, they're normal religion, right, right, right.
Speaker 4:So yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 2:Okay so. John you just got to stop your thought. No, I know.
Speaker 4:I thought I was cutting you off, so I was. I was letting you continue.
Speaker 3:This is one of the moments.
Speaker 1:The.
Speaker 2:John. John, you believe that the moth man was an omen of impending doom and he was kind of the one that set that emotion. Prior to this, even though people saw the moth man in the area prior to like the bridge collapse and all this other stuff, it wasn't really a thing until he showed up that, like he may kind of made that connection of this creature has been cited and then this major disaster happened. Right, he was the one that kind of set that emotion and then he took all the research that he learned to create his book called Mothman Prophecies and but he admitted, like obviously, that a lot of the stuff in that book it's a fictional book he took a lot of the sightings that he said that there were. There was only actually, like some of the research I've read, said six to seven people, but if you go on all those sightings that was more than six to seven people.
Speaker 2:So you can take a lot of this with great assault, but basically so I never saw the Mothman Prophecy movie. I haven't read the book because I was going to watch the movie. But then I learned that like it was a fictional novel. And then he admitted to like make it shit up to make the novel better.
Speaker 5:Basically, you wanted to hear the real story of the testimonials.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So I was like, well, I'm not even going to waste my time watching the movie then, because it probably will just scare me because I'm a pussy.
Speaker 3:So I kind of so I kind of wonder if he says he made stuff up, I wonder if he was taking like eyewitness accounts with no kind of like verifiable evidence. He just didn't Like, he just said oh yeah, I interviewed these few people but they had this to say about it and there's a bunch of.
Speaker 5:I'm sorry I was interrupting. No, go ahead, go ahead. Yeah, I was just going to say I think he's just taking the original accounts and like making it an entertaining story. I think he was just trying to make a, you know, a good, an entertaining book which turned into a really scary entertaining movie.
Speaker 3:I mean it doesn't take a whole lot, realistically, it doesn't take a whole lot to entertain any person. You take something that you don't know, added in a place that's familiar and that shit's scary.
Speaker 5:It is yeah. Well, when you have, when you have like real accounts, like Louis was saying earlier, like the real testimonials of these people, these people were actually interviewed and and their story was written down and documented. I think he took those.
Speaker 3:I think he like it's such a prominent Based reports and yeah exactly Stories and he definitely took he definitely took reports of things that were not like like he had his sources, but those were like hey, if I reference people to you, what are you going to say? But he also had people that were like I'm not putting my name on this, I don't know what kind of demon this thing is. I don't know if I, if I speak this into existence, that I'm not going to fucking die. Look what happened to the bridge. I was alive during that. I was seven years old, 12 years old or whatever. Like I'm not 100% convinced that it was like eyewitness accounts. And then also people that had I'm not going to call them eyewitness accounts, but like my brother did this and I trust my brother Like I feel like and I would have to watch them off man prophecies. I don't know all of that bullshit, but I feel like, as an author, you can't discount a third party reference.
Speaker 5:Yeah, no, I mean well.
Speaker 2:I mean, I think the I guess, like the whole thing, the whole point of me even bringing that up, is that he, he took real world events and made a story out of it. So basically, what I'm saying is not everything. Things in the movie it's based on a true story, but we know how that movies that are based on true stories are right. Yeah, lots of production, that's all, in fact lots of facts in general, he connected dots yeah.
Speaker 5:Do. That movie struck a fear in me, though, bro, like that was. That movie is a very eerie movie. The word eerie that's exactly the movie wasn't like a jump scare movie, it's a very eerie feeling movie. Just, it makes you feel like you're in the town with him. As a small town, there's nowhere to hide. And yeah thing is just just, it's hunting you down.
Speaker 4:Yeah, call it what you want, if you want, if you want to call it whatever alien UFO which I kind of believe, some of those accounts, it's like these were acts of like darkness in a way. Right, like you can kind of like see that there's a lot of chaos, that's like revolving around this figure. It's not only like scaring the shit out of people but it's also like possibly causing like devastating effects or events going on in the area. And it's just like what, if I mean shit, I don't know like what, if, like these acts of darkness, you know, whatever corn stock was trying to conjure up in a way to possess this land and kind of curse this land, what if?
Speaker 4:It's many different things, or it's like interdimensional, or it's not only interdimensional but it's way more broad than we can kind of point our finger on and say, hey, it's this Like. I guess, like like there's probably an example of like a fallen angel idea, right, or there's an alien UFO idea, right, or there's a. There's paranormal activity that took place not only at the fort of Point Pleasant, but there's been paranormal, paranormal activity that's been taking place in the town as well. So there seems to be like there's a common denominator. That's kind of covering the spectrum.
Speaker 4:And yeah something's going on. There's, there's, there's some weird shit going on. It could be a demon, angel, it could be, you know, an alien from another planet. That's like a celestial body or like some sort of heavenly body that we can't, we don't really understand, but we perceive it as as aliens from the human perspective. Right, because, because it's something that's whatever it is, it's, it's like supernatural, right? Or what did Louis call it? What did you call it, louis?
Speaker 2:It's ultra, ultra terrestrial ultra terrestrial right.
Speaker 5:So, ultra and I love that. I like that concept right, Because it's it's telling you it's here, but it's not here like we are. Yeah, it's, it's from, it's kind of like it's a drive from something else.
Speaker 4:Yeah, well, it could be that it's not limited as we are, so when we perceive it as something that's you know, doing all this crazy stuff, our minds are like focused on travel.
Speaker 5:It's just dimensions. It could be.
Speaker 4:But I think of it like not limited to anything because it's not. It's not flesh per se, just it could be flesh force dimension, or it could be, perceived as flesh, maybe the way.
Speaker 5:Well, definitely fleshy.
Speaker 3:The wings are antennae.
Speaker 5:The fleshy part, the wings. Every time I just think of the wings. When you say flesh, I just thought of the wings opening up, but so it's creepy.
Speaker 4:Real quick before before my phone dies. I want to kind of just cover this concept that I had, and so this goes back to, you know, chief corn stock and the curse that he left on the land and everything like that Good thing, because. So I'm going to pass, that's fine, you do you? So the Shawnee tribe, they, they, they worshiped, you know, the Great Spirit, and within this Great Spirit there was a bunch of other individual type of spirits that had different types of power and purpose. And so when, when I was doing my research on these spirits that you know not only a Shawnee tribe but also that whole northern middle, whatever central area of Midwest Midwest area, you know, they worshiped a spirit called, you know, on Mimiki, or there's another name for it, nimic, nimiki, or an anemica, or what most tribes call it as Benessi, and so Benessi means thunderbird.
Speaker 5:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm not hearing about this.
Speaker 4:Which relates to a giant, a giant bird, right, and so this type of spirit is known to be not only a bird but a giant mythology, in mythological world, mythological bird. That's known in that northern area and Western tribes and stuff, but it's described as a manlike figure, right. So it's kind of like a integration of a bird and a man, some type of figure of such humanoid whatever, and it's supposedly causes thunder with its wings and and things like that. So when I, when I, when I hear of, like when Louie was telling me cornstalk, all this kind of stuff, you know it just related so much to the mothman, I'm like, holy shit, was this the fucking spirit that maybe he was, like you know, trying to invoking, or that was invoking or or being invoked, right?
Speaker 2:I hadn't heard that, so that's good.
Speaker 4:Oh yeah, so you know, and he, just you know this. This thunderbird was like oh fuck, yes, dude, thank you for allowing me to break these chains and terrorize these people for however many years or whatever, and maybe, like they get like some sort of whatever they are, what if they get some sort of pleasure from not only beautiful men like us, handsome men talking about them, but you know also people that are having interaction with it. You know sightings, this and that, like, if maybe it gives them power, like draws them energy or some sort of I'm not getting that from any of these stories.
Speaker 4:Yeah, well, I'm trying to speak, you're going deep brother.
Speaker 5:I'm going deep.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I'm going deep because there's got to be like reason and purpose right For like what these.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's I understand, but like I'm not, I'm not sensing that from any of the mothman prophecies.
Speaker 5:I'm yeah.
Speaker 4:Well, that's why we all have sensory, which is beautiful. I'm much more basic.
Speaker 2:I'm not sensing that from any of the reports. I'm much more basic. Go ahead.
Speaker 3:You'll see when I tell you what I think that it is, I feel like y'all will be like. I can see that. Let's see that at the end, Louie go.
Speaker 2:All right. So after all this happened, john Keele went back down. That is, research and sighting stopped.
Speaker 4:They should have fallen on the right point.
Speaker 2:pleasant from first one, from that point forward, as far as I know. But then eight years later, in 1975, in Binghampton, new York, Whoa Bingham. Binghampton, binghampton. Thank you, yes, binghampton, new York. There was a mothman sighting Group of kids. See a man with bat wings and glowing red eyes.
Speaker 5:Fuck yeah. That's the most I got out of that sighting.
Speaker 2:I'm going to run through a whole bunch of other sightings at this point Get it Fucking run through it. And then we can get into some other stuff of theories?
Speaker 5:No fucking dude, run through these. Come on, Don't run through them, but run through them Right.
Speaker 2:So 1978, three years after Binghampton, New York, in Freiburg, Germany, there was a group of miners that came face to face with a creature with large red eyes. They thought it was a man until it opened its wings, and then they just kind of stared at it for a little while. Then it let out. This loud screech, terrifying screech, scared the shit out of all of them. They took off running. An hour later there was a loud rumble, the earth shook and a puff of dust big, large puff of dust came shooting out of the tunnel. The tunnel that they were supposed to be working in collapsed. Wow, Most of those men would have been killed in that collapse had they gone in to into the tunnel, had the bird not been there. So this bird, they call it the Freiburg shrieker.
Speaker 2:Next one, 1985 in Chernobyl. There was what's called the Blackbird of Chernobyl. In that area in 1985, there was a huge blackbird-like creature with the body of a man with red eyes. In that area in the year leading up to the whole Chernobyl incident, the residents would get mysterious phone calls, they would have headaches, they were having nightmares and they got worse and worse until the explosion in 1986. See what's next.
Speaker 4:Hey Cole, thank you for the follow-up. Brother Appreciate you. We'll give you a follow-up back after this show.
Speaker 2:Trying to see if I wrote anything down past 1985.
Speaker 5:Love conspiracy brother Absolutely.
Speaker 2:We got them here, All right. So the next one that I wrote down. So there is a picture, purportedly of a winged creature with the body of a man that I'm trying to break it up real quick. Show you a screen. Oh yeah, In 2001, near the day before the World Trade Center was hit.
Speaker 5:Oh shit, here we go with this.
Speaker 4:Hey Roughneck. Thank you for the follow-up, brother. Follow-up for the show.
Speaker 2:Right there, that is it, and supposedly this is in front of us Can you zoom in on that? Try to zoom in on that. Give me a second. I gotta figure out how to do this.
Speaker 5:Because I saw this too and I'm like man.
Speaker 4:Dude, it looks like the typical look of the freaking angel man. I mean, maybe it's just me, but it looks like Injection. Yeah, like.
Speaker 5:Remember there's, different. No of course, yeah, there's different types of angels.
Speaker 4:Yeah 100%, 100%.
Speaker 5:Dude, we gotta get into that.
Speaker 4:I'm trying to do this Because I never, knew that.
Speaker 5:We should. I never knew that there was different angels. There's, like, all sorts of different. There's serpentine angels that look like serpents there really is All right. So this is that's not. That's not more zoomed.
Speaker 2:It's. I can't figure out how to do it. I'm dumb.
Speaker 4:Sorry, they can see the picture.
Speaker 5:No, that looks like a huge bird, yeah, so this is downtown NYC, yeah.
Speaker 2:During the day before. Yeah, like the day before, before the night of the I'm kind of. Yeah.
Speaker 5:I'm kind of convinced already, Geez dude Got it All right.
Speaker 2:Well, there's that. After that, in August 2007, after a month of sightings this was in Minneapolis, Minnesota the I-35 bridge in Minneapolis collapsed during rush hour. In 2009 in La Junta, Mexico, after terrorized locals kept witnessing a large red-eyed creature. This was, I want to say, several months of this the swine flu outbreak in 2009. And then in 2011, to present in Chicago many, many, many, many multiple sightings of a giant flying humanoid creature, hundreds of sightings around Chicago here. So there is a website called phantomsandmonsterscom. They do an interactive map of the Chicago area that has sightings, the sightings and the stories attached to them, and I'm going to share that screen real quick too this is so cool.
Speaker 2:I love this shit. So there's 164 sightings in this area 2011 to present and this is like just the Chicago area. Let's see if this updates there you go Like Michigan right there. So there's some down in Indianapolis, milwaukee, and so like we'll click on which, pick a number one through 64, 164.
Speaker 4:That's funny. You said 64, I said 164.
Speaker 2:It's crazy, kind of cool, I guess you're ahead of me. Let's do 164. So this one is. We'll just kind of read through it real quick.
Speaker 5:That's going to be the closest one right time frame.
Speaker 2:Yeah, should be. So, red eyed humanoid observed along Camp Pine Woods roadway in Chicago. Recent sighting of the Chicago winged humanoid in the Camp Pine Woods near the Plains River. The location is Northeast of O'Hare International Airport and a lot of these sightings have been like. The majority have been near the airport. So says I was driving Thursday night at 10pm, september 7, 2023. So this was like just the other day, yeah, couple weeks ago.
Speaker 2:Yeah well my way to pick up food in the Glenview area. Prior to picking up my food, I had a super uneasy feeling. Can you guys still see it?
Speaker 5:Okay yeah, super uneasy feeling.
Speaker 2:I felt very brain foggy and just out of it I really wasn't focused. I want to think it's the stress because of working a nine to five. Oh, so I was.
Speaker 5:What do you do for work? Hold on a second lame.
Speaker 2:I was driving along Westlake Avenue, I was listening to music and singing along to my favorite playlist. I wasn't really thinking much. I drove by the cemetery earlier on River Road, which I hate. Driving by, I started obviously feeling pretty spooked, like out of nowhere. I don't know why I was second myself out, but I continued not to pay mind to that feeling and kept singing along to me to my music. It was Lady Gaga, so I definitely was singing my heart out. I kept driving. As I drove by the forest on Westlake Avenue, I quickly saw a strange creature standing still on the right side of the road. I wanted to believe it was deer, but this thing I saw was six to seven feet tall, standing upright. Dear, don't do that. Ooh, I had it. It had a dark gray cement like colored body and its eyes gave out the same red as bicycle reflectors do.
Speaker 2:That's what made me look when I quickly locked eyes with. With it, my stomach dropped and I got so scared the same feeling you get when riding, oh man.
Speaker 5:Hey, real quick, we're okay. Is he keep going? Yeah, yeah, yeah, there's not, I was just okay, okay.
Speaker 2:No, go for it. What was your just?
Speaker 5:one and we're so. This is 164. Where's 163?
Speaker 2:164, right here, right next to oh wow.
Speaker 5:That's awesome. That validates a little bit that validates a little bit. We can zoom in unless they know each other. I liked 132. I'm looking out into the thing because it's not so inner, but what? Go ahead, but go ahead.
Speaker 2:So I freaked out for a bit and was thinking keep driving, don't look back, don't look back. I quickly sped up to the upcoming light and intersection. I wanted to be around other cars in the intersection and more into businesses and buildings. I kept telling myself nope, that was a deer. That was a deer. You didn't see shit. I picked up my bonchon chicken and drove on the highway back home it's bonchon chicken dude.
Speaker 2:I forgot about it and went to work the next day. I kept thinking about it so I told my coworker what happened and what I saw. She's into paranormal and conspiracy and told me of the moth man scene all over Chicago, especially around the O'Hare airport area. So, throughout my research, I saw the Google Maps sighting site and had to reach out Again. I never thought I would be doing this, but hey, here I am, whatever, these things are. I hope they're nice.
Speaker 5:Yeah, these stories one thing I wanted to bring up earlier. They haven't hurt anybody. There's not one story of them devouring somebody.
Speaker 2:Not a single story of them, even physically touching anybody.
Speaker 5:Devouring somebody or something like that. Okay, real quick, what's 163? Let's see what they say. Real quick, at least with the date.
Speaker 2:Winged human November. Well, that was the earliest experience.
Speaker 5:Wow 2014?
Speaker 2:Oh, no that was his earliest experience, when he was 17.
Speaker 5:Oh, 2023, August 20th. Okay. So like a month before yeah, like not too long before very close.
Speaker 2:They say they observed a huge, bright cylindrical object in the sky.
Speaker 5:Wow.
Speaker 2:Wow, Okay. August 15th, they witnessed the humanoid lake being.
Speaker 5:Okay, seven foot, oh, seven pm.
Speaker 2:Damn, so damn this is legit dude.
Speaker 5:I like this. This is I'm going to get on this. This is fucking dope. I love this because I grew up. So I grew up on Seneca. Well, I didn't grow up, but I was born on Seneca Lake till I was about 10 years old and there's the Seneca lights and they date back to the 1700s and it's really old. It's very, very old and a lot of these, and Seneca Lake is not too far from Lake Michigan, right here. But go to 132 real quick and then I'll shut up because I just my eyes spotted 132.
Speaker 2:It's all the way north, northwest, oh, let me just easier if I scroll through this way 132.
Speaker 5:I think it's 132. So 130, yeah, it's all the way down and exactly where the bat the bat was.
Speaker 2:So it says, two reported wing being encounters in Mineral Point, wisconsin, early spring 2019.
Speaker 5:Do you want me to read it, or I mean, if it's relevant, which obviously it is, it is relevant, but I just saw it and I'm like looking for the most rural area I could find on that map, because, well, this says it was the large like entity perched on top of the building across the street, the beings claws. We extended off the edge massive feathered wings, span of 20 to 25 feet. Holy shit, that's big Dude. All right, we're back at it. That proves my what I was saying, because I was saying the being on top of the bridge in Virginia is dude, at least nine feet. So you're going to think each wing is much larger and bigger than the body. 20 to 25 feet wingspan sounds about right.
Speaker 2:So this? Actually this is the first time I've come across a description of the creature's face. Oh shit, I didn't even see that. It says the face was described as a cross between a bulldog and a lion, with pointed ears and a long snout, but having a nub nose. That's interesting.
Speaker 5:Oh, that is so creepy. That's like the typical like snarled vampire kind of look yeah, actually Like the, it is creepy. A bulldog and a lion.
Speaker 1:Yeah, because I got the smudged face.
Speaker 5:It's just like think of a think of a bat with the pointy ears and the smudged face.
Speaker 3:But that's big. That to me sounds adaptive, like it's adapted, so almost everything adapts to whatever it is around. So I wonder if, like fourth dimension is a little bit more inhospitable.
Speaker 2:Well, I mean, if it's.
Speaker 4:Do you mind unsharing your screen? Or almost, you're still.
Speaker 2:Oh, yeah, yeah, Sorry about that. No, no, no, that's, that's my bad Real. Okay. So well, I think we're at the point now where so this is the most seen and widely reported cryptid like on the planet, as far as I know Like is it? Really in western world and stuff. I'm sure maybe like, maybe in like Asian stuff there's, but like as far as like on the interwebs, like the moth man is like is one of the top ones.
Speaker 2:So, like some of the theories, I'm going to throw a couple out. There is a. There's the ultra trash real right that it's a multi dimensional being that is from Earth but not our particular dimension. There's that it's a new species due to radiation exposure, which I mean. The first sightings were over in the Point Pleasant area where they had the toxic waste facility in the TNT area. So some people have postulated that it is a mutant sandhill crane or perhaps a mutant barn owl. I guess I can see them a vet, because also the sandhill crane one is supposed to be that. Imagine a giant version of one of those.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, but like sandhill cranes have on the top of their head. They have those red stripes. Well, they're so small though they're so small, but if it was a mutant giant version of it, maybe, wait, I don't know. Yeah, well, wasn't it?
Speaker 4:referred to as like an owl too, like wasn't something like zoologists also kind of compared to like some sort of?
Speaker 2:owl or something. Okay, I said barn owl because barn owls have gray barn owls and gray yeah.
Speaker 4:Listen, I work at station three with sand cranes in the backyard, all the fucking time.
Speaker 5:They're tiny, okay they're maybe.
Speaker 4:They maybe sit four feet tall. They're tiny Now. I don't know about West Virginia's great, you know. No, the sandhill cranes. I don't know, I don't know if they're any different.
Speaker 2:I must say, were you not listening when I said mutant versions Okay okay okay.
Speaker 4:So, why Okay?
Speaker 1:Luis, why are?
Speaker 5:they mutants? Where did they mutate from? It wasn't Chernobyl, damn it.
Speaker 4:Yeah, like is it. Are we talking about integrated like sand cranes?
Speaker 2:Like I legit explain this. You guys not fucking listen to me.
Speaker 5:Yeah, I guess there's a nuclear site around there, right the toxic waste disposal site.
Speaker 4:Oh, what's crazy about this too, Wait so are you referring to the train derailments? That took place in this area. Is this where you're? Referring to no you didn't hear about this.
Speaker 1:No the.
Speaker 3:TNT the ammunition's white shore Sure Is the toxic waste disposal site Was it nuclear toxic waste.
Speaker 2:I don't know.
Speaker 5:Damn it.
Speaker 2:We gotta look into what kind of toxic waste was it Was it oil.
Speaker 5:Was it fossil fuels Was it nuclear.
Speaker 3:All right, so 100%. If it was nuclear, I guarantee you I am 100% out, because we're really really good at storing nuclear waste.
Speaker 5:We are yeah right next to me to you, sons of bitches and yucca mountain. God damn it. Yeah, how's your sperm count. Probably not the best. I haven't counted it earlier, it's early.
Speaker 3:Not good, because you keep whacking off every freaking like 20 minutes. How does he know this? It's healthy.
Speaker 2:I didn't know he?
Speaker 5:oh, my camera was on. Is he following me everywhere I go, Bitch.
Speaker 4:I'm choking.
Speaker 3:I'm AAA certified. Aaa certified no no but Louis for real.
Speaker 4:So did you hear about the trained aralments of chemical waste and all this kind of stuff? I know you're talking about specifics, but when? Well, not when but what I'm saying? I think this was so let me look this up. I think this was in the 70s.
Speaker 2:So if we're talking about this is more of a catastrophic event.
Speaker 3:Yeah, it's a place, no, if we're talking about if we're talking about like toxic waste, the first thing obviously that comes to mind is nuclear. But I don't think that we were that invested yeah. I don't think that we were that invested into nuclear at that point in time. So I feel like Jesse's whole kind of thing and I don't really buy super into it, but I feel like the fossil fuel kind of side of things would be a more reasonable yeah. So all right, we've decided mutant creatures are out then yeah, I'm out on mutant creatures.
Speaker 5:I'm not out on anything. I don't know what we're talking about or why. No, I do know why. I'm not in on anything. I'm not sold 100% on anything, but I tell you what. All these people saw this shit. So there's got to be an explanation and we need to keep digging If it's going to be corn stock, then it's going to be corn stocks. Curse If it's going to be the nuclear waste site.
Speaker 2:Right. So here's one of the things I wanted to bring up. I'm going to jump into one of my theories right now. Let's get it.
Speaker 2:I have a couple, but this one. So, mothman, he's humanoid. Check my thoughts is that this is potentially so. You guys know the hollow earth theory, right? Uh huh, yes, um, hollow earth theory, if you believe science, quote unquote science, right, uh, generally has been debunked, debunked for, um, like they say, you know the earth can't be hollow and blah, blah, blah. For, for reasons I don't want to get too deep, into that.
Speaker 5:There's fucking cave systems everywhere. It's hollow that that's not the same thing.
Speaker 2:It's not the same thing, but that's what I wanted to bring up is that the the cave systems in that area is the mammoth cave system.
Speaker 5:It's like the largest.
Speaker 2:Yes sir, this mammoth cave system is mammoth, if you will. It is fucking massive.
Speaker 5:It stretches from Kentucky all the way to the Virginia.
Speaker 2:Yes, it is fucking huge, um, and so I mean those. There's cave systems like that all over Over the world, even, um, and my thought is that it's not necessarily hollow earth, but there there are these cave systems, and deeper in these cave systems that we don't know could be creatures, potentially other types of civilizations that are a little more advanced than us, that they escaped whatever previous cataclysm that this world had, um with some of this technology, but so they're humanoid. What if this is a humanoid creature from the, the hollow earth, the cave, one of these cave systems? Um, and I say this because there's, there have been other creatures that have been sighted around caves Like it is a known thing that, especially in the mammoth cave area, um, there's just things that show up that no one knows what the fuck they are and they are humanoid, so could you wearing tech?
Speaker 2:Could you, could you sort?
Speaker 4:of ear on. I mean, I wouldn't, I wouldn't doubt what you mean, like a fucking time machine watch or something like no, no, no no Like, so this thing, so this thing.
Speaker 2:supposedly it's able to fly 70, 90 miles an hour and keep up with cars, right, Um, it's got a, so maybe, perhaps it has like a jet pack, like, think, um, like, uh, the Falcon from fucking the Avengers love it.
Speaker 2:So if also, like we know, there's a couple of animals that have like red eye shine right, most animals at night, if they're nocturnal, have some sort of red eye shine, right, like animals just happen to have this, or they have an eye shine, a luminescent eye. Yeah, there's a couple of animals the two like barn owl is one and there's another one, um, that they have red eye shine.
Speaker 5:I think the donkey does, I think the burrow does too, and I said this to you guys because I thought I saw something like that out in the Calico Basin. I mean, I did see a red eye and I thought it was a burrow, because there's a lot of burrows out there. But Louis, you told me that burrows don't their eyes, don't face forward like that. So, yeah, no, they don't kind of freak me out a little bit.
Speaker 2:That feature is called Tapetum lucidum, right, and it's not many animals that have that. But one thing that I know from technology is infrared light. Right, when you're using like lower tech night vision, like video cameras will have it. The security cameras are in a lot of places. The spectrum that's infrared, it's 850 nm, nano something I guess it would be nanometers. Yeah, that particular spectrum that is used in night vision devices, especially for cameras and stuff. It projects a red light, so like if someone's pointing a night vision camera at you and it's not necessarily like high end military stuff, which is what's called the light amplification. Right, if it's stuff like a camera or something like that, it's going to project an infrared light. You know it's really able to pick up, really fucked up that.
Speaker 5:you just said that because I told my story and I try to be humble about it, I try to be like I don't know what it is. You know, I'm not. I told my story about the red eyed being I saw on Calico Basin and he literally said exactly what you just said. He said I think maybe somebody who was out there with a like high grade night vision just fucking with you. Now obviously he like knew something. I didn't, because I'm like I didn't. I don't know that Now I do, but I saw that and this thing was in the middle of the basin and it was not, it was not short, it's very, very tall. So I mean that's you know, maybe you had a moth man out there. No, I think I mean I don't.
Speaker 5:I'm not going to say no to anything, but I'm telling you right now my experience out there and Steve even had an experience with me too, but it wasn't had to do with red eyes. The red eyes was very scary man. It was like this thing didn't even move, like we were getting the rocks. There was rocks getting thrown at us and they kept getting closer and closer, and this is right. When the sun went down and I look over. We're running because we're like, okay, something's messing with us, whether it's a human or not. We started running towards my truck. I look back and there's this thing in the middle of the basin where the tall grass is, and it's like I'd say, yes, it exactly seven to eight feet tall, exactly, but it had big red eyes, I mean your story just got that much scarier to me.
Speaker 2:I'm just telling you. So, after looking into moth man. It's that much scarier to me.
Speaker 3:All right, so not for nothing it didn't even move, dude.
Speaker 5:I look back at it twice it didn't even fucking move.
Speaker 3:So not for nothing. So, louis, you just said that lower tech. Really it's higher tech than like average civilian, but lower tech when it comes to any like first world civilization comes. Any third world kind of night vision that you're going to end up having is going to have a red tint to their tech.
Speaker 1:And it's a bright light.
Speaker 2:Not necessarily third world. So, like the cheaper stuff that you'll get, they cost you like 150 bucks or something. It's the same technology that.
Speaker 3:Your ring can't yeah your ring cameras, your exactly that kind of stuff.
Speaker 2:If you look at those at night, you know where the camera is. You're going to see a little red light. Basically, that's just illuminating the area, giving your camera the ability to pick something up without that. Your camera doesn't amplify the light.
Speaker 3:But that's also why you end up having better night vision. That is going to be able to use that to be able to pick up pretty much everything. So you you take a really good night vision like good night vision goggles. You could have ring cameras yeah, you can. You can have the center of the earth. You can have really good night
Speaker 2:vision goggles you can have. You can have goggles like that.
Speaker 3:They're going to end up. You can have your whole house lit up with ring cameras that are just waiting to see any kind of light and you're just chilling with really good NVG.
Speaker 2:Yes, so still going on that tech, that this is a whatever human or either. I mean this could possibly be like some military experiment in the past, right, like fucking Lockheed skunkworks is doing shit, since.
Speaker 5:Oh, lockheed skunk, I have something to say about that. I'm going to write that down on my notes.
Speaker 2:I'm going to stop, okay, I love you, I love you, I love you. My other thing was that there was often a loud screech heard anytime the creature got near. If we know anything about turbine engines is it can be allowed screaming noise, right. So imagine this bird goes flying by with some jet turbines and use here. You know, those were some of the things that I was thinking it could be.
Speaker 5:Now, that's one of my theories, so you're saying that this is and this is and we were going to go off the rails, but I'm not going to. You're saying this is high end technology. You're saying this is military grade technology.
Speaker 2:I'm saying yes, but not necessarily ours.
Speaker 3:I wouldn't say high end technology, I would just say like not Blancy, auger, gucci or nothing like that. No, I would say equal. Maybe not equal, but similar to what 1966. Yeah, similar. I would say similar to what it will listen in 1966. If you don't think that we had some, we had the blackbird, we had the SR 71.
Speaker 2:We had we had night vision and during the Vietnam War, yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 5:Yeah so shitty, shitty, shitty night vision. I mean if they're going to if they're going to hand out a peril to everybody in the platoon, then, yeah, it's probably not going to be the Well, no, it was the only thing that had it.
Speaker 3:It would still cost you two thousand dollars today.
Speaker 5:Oh yeah, probably more than that. We got better shit now. So it's going to say relic at this point.
Speaker 3:So it's a no, that bullshit would still cost you two thousand dollars today.
Speaker 1:A good set of night vision.
Speaker 3:Right, so it's a typical setup with like like a little rhino. Fucking NVG setup is still running 35, $4,000.
Speaker 2:Oh, 40,000. No, 3500.
Speaker 5:I was going to say Louie, didn't you just?
Speaker 1:I was going to say Louie didn't you just roll some, don't you know?
Speaker 3:don't you know somebody got a mouth. I feel like our buddy. I feel like our buddy Beemart possibly got something for like why are you talking with the fuck 3467, like it was like 346765 from unable to take hits Is that?
Speaker 2:is that what's going on? Get back on the. Let's get back on the Mothman prophecy.
Speaker 3:I lost. I lost all of my gear in a tragic boating accident.
Speaker 5:The your, your other left side of your brain, oh Louie.
Speaker 2:The other thing that, so as far as we can tell, like Mothman has never actually hurt anybody, right.
Speaker 1:And exactly.
Speaker 2:Only ever showed up and appears to be a bad omen, right. But is only showed up in this is bullshitting, my friend either to help people or like scare people away, right, so it seems to be more helpful warning like a warning sign. It's a warning. So, that made me think of. Have you ever read the scene the movie odd Thomas it was based on? Oh yeah, Holy shit, he died dude.
Speaker 5:He got ran over by his own fucking Jeep. Dude, Dean Coons, I think that kid, yeah, the kid that played oh the kid kid.
Speaker 2:Yeah, the Russian kid. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah he got fucking.
Speaker 5:He bought a Jeep that was recalled and then he like didn't park it right and then got out to open his garage and it ran him over.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's very sad yeah.
Speaker 2:So I'm going to do his mouth. Well, in the movie odd Thomas there are these creatures, entities called. He calls them bodax, and these bodax are so. They're shadow like or ink like creatures that are invisible to most people. They appear at locations before disaster happens. So in the movie they show up like anytime somebody's going to die or something odd Thomas is able to like. He can see dead people, but he can also see these creatures, and so he knows, anytime one of these things show up, somebody's going to get hurt, and so it.
Speaker 5:I don't remember that I have to watch the movie again. So weird.
Speaker 2:It is weird but it's good one. So he watches and they just Mothman reminds me of that is like they can appear to, I guess, people who can see them, and then that shit happens nearby afterwards.
Speaker 5:Yes, that is fucking spot on, damn.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 5:Very interesting, very interesting.
Speaker 3:I have not. I've read a few of Dean Coons novels, but I haven't been.
Speaker 5:Coon, dean Coons.
Speaker 3:Coons Hmm, I've read it. I've I've read a few. They were available when I was a kid, that was are they not available now? They were easily available to me as I was a kid. So my my mom is very into like nonfiction kind of stuff, but my mom is also very don't fuck with shit. That is well established. My mom, my mom comes from don't fix what ain't broke right. No, no, no, like. Take your shoes off before coming in the house. Put a broom above every threshold. Don't speak superstitions.
Speaker 5:Yeah, but a broom, what do you mean?
Speaker 3:Just superstition stuff, very superstitious shit.
Speaker 5:But my mom is very big into that kind of stuff, so you put a broom up because it cleans up the no, no shit. Absolutely not. It does the opposite it gives you marble.
Speaker 3:No, no. How many strands are in a broomstick?
Speaker 5:754. You have no idea.
Speaker 3:And it would take you forever to count those things. There are certain things that are obsessed with certain things and there's exploitations to almost everything in this world. There is something that is that is obsessed with something, no matter where you go in this interesting.
Speaker 5:Oh, that's creepy actually, that's a, that's a very, very I.
Speaker 3:I've never even thought of it like that I promise you that right now, you are obsessed with something that you don't realize you are obsessed with no, I'm pretty honest with myself.
Speaker 5:If you want me to go there, I can probably go on for a couple hours. No.
Speaker 3:I'm sure you're honest with yourself, but there are some. There's something that you would spend an inordinate amount of time doing, something. You also have limitations.
Speaker 2:Like discussing or conspiracies on a podcast.
Speaker 3:Yeah, it's that's a, that's a very, that's a very quick thing.
Speaker 5:It's not quick at all. Actually, I've been here for like an hour and a half now.
Speaker 3:We're shortening down. I'm not an hour and 50. I'm, I'm very. There's a few things in this world that I'm very cautious about.
Speaker 5:And what are those things tell us?
Speaker 3:right now John Appalachian. So Appalachian, for I don't fuck around with. I could agree with that and anybody that knows about putting an inordinate amount of countable things in their room. They know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 5:What do you mean? An inordinate amount of countable things. What are you talking about?
Speaker 3:And I'm not going to fuck around with any more than that?
Speaker 5:No, we can't. We can't stay there. Sorry, Sean, but if you're going to bring it up, you got to talk about it.
Speaker 1:So there's, there's you're going to put things like relics in your room.
Speaker 3:So there are, there are specific creatures that are very um malevolent and they have their predisposed to I don't know. I guess nowadays we would call it like OCD kind of. I have to know. One of the things is like how many straws in a in a broom?
Speaker 5:Wait, so I'm getting kind of confused here. So you're saying that there's creatures that are attracted to people with OCD? No no no, so shit what makes sense though.
Speaker 3:So so there's a. There's a particular creature that is drawn to counting things in Appalachian culture.
Speaker 5:Oh, oh, he's afraid to talk about it too. You said over how much? 100.
Speaker 3:It's a lot. Basically, the idea is this thing will not fuck with you because it gets distracted, because it's trying to count certain amounts of things, and that can be those things. How many words are on particular wallpaper in your house? How many straws that are in a broom, how many grains of so it's?
Speaker 5:an OCD demon.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and it makes your life terrible because it's kind of like a basilisk.
Speaker 5:All right back to Mothman. I'm just kidding.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not.
Speaker 5:Appalachian folk words are so much I like to get back into Mothman, though, because I have a couple notes written down that I'd like to get back into. Like the curse of King Philip's war has to do with Indians, let's get back into what Louis wants to say.
Speaker 2:And no, I was, I was just going to say like I've been talking for like an hour and a half.
Speaker 5:No, well, you are, you are Good stuff dude.
Speaker 1:Solid stuff man, A awesome stuff man, Seriously.
Speaker 2:Jesse, and then D Matt, and then we'll wrap it up with Sean thoughts. Give us your little notes there, jesse, your big notes. Sorry, didn't mean to diminish.
Speaker 5:I don't have any big notes but I just, you know, you brought up in the beginning of the podcast that there was, you know it seems to be there's like a curse upon the land from natives that the land was stolen from by Europeans or the white man. And it's the same thing for, if you, if you look at the folklore in Massachusetts, there's the Bridgewater Triangle and that is a huge, it's a huge area that is completely surrounded by testimonial after testimonial of people talking about these crazy things that they've seen, whether it's UFOs or light balls coming out of the ground or a fucking werewolf, or even, I'm sure, mothman's seen there too. But King Phillips war is in Massachusetts and that's the Bridgewater Triangle, and what happened was there was all these natives and King Philip was an Indian. He wasn't, his name wasn't Philip, they just called him King Philip because they, you know, they couldn't pronounce his name properly because he's an Indian and they called him King Philip. So they killed him, they killed a lot of his family and they cursed the land and I wanted to talk about that.
Speaker 5:That was very interesting because it's a lot of it, even up to New York, the Iroquois tribe. There's a lot of like very creepy stuff with the Indians. The Indians, like Stevie said earlier, the occult, they had to do with a lot of like rituals and they just it's just. You know it's for another podcast, but it's just so amazing how a lot of these cryptids and all these different types of stories have to do with the natives in this country, in America, in the United States, all throughout the country. Very close together. It all has to do with curses. And then you said Lockheed Skunk Works. I wanted to bring up what's his name Stephen Greer. He's pushing legislation right now that if it gets passed, all of these companies like Lockheed Skunk Works and all these other companies, they have to disclose all the technologies within six months.
Speaker 4:It's not passed yet. Are these companies that are like a part of the whole military industrial complex, Like oh yeah yeah, Lockheed Skunk Works, Big Low Aerospace? There's a whole bunch of?
Speaker 5:stuff. Yes, boeing, there's a whole bunch of different. I mean, I'm sure there's even some names that we don't even know. So these companies will all be liable and they'll be held to legal prosecution, criminal prosecution, and that you know. Maybe it'll get passed. I highly doubt it'll get passed. I just wanted to talk about that.
Speaker 5:Stephen Greer look him up. He's pushing this. He's been pushing this for many years. He's trying to get this passed, if this legislation gets passed through Congress, because it's being put in a defense spending bill. So he thinks it's going to get. You know, it's actually going to get passed and I'm very you know this is really close.
Speaker 5:This is something that's like. If you go look this up on YouTube now, you can see Stephen Greer probably did an interview 24 hours ago. So, like this is a lot of shit that's happening right now and, if it happens, it's pretty incredible because these companies that have all this technology and they're said to be the companies that truly have the technology to have the tic-tacs that can fly at the speed of light, they can go from, you know, go to your cat point in fucking two seconds from 20 miles away, it just makes me think of, like the Nazi technology, which was 80, almost 90 years ago well, probably 70, 80 years ago, but where it's at now it's got to be some sort of advancement way stronger than you know where they were at, you know, doing test and Antarctica and all the sort of stuff.
Speaker 4:Go back and watch our you know episode, operation high jump. It's good, want to go ahead and tap into it.
Speaker 5:There's a lot of awesome stuff into it. One of the first shows, huh.
Speaker 4:Yeah, I think it was episode two. Yeah, it was pretty cool, man, seeing how we're already 22 episodes in Bird.
Speaker 5:General bird. Huh, that's some crazy bastard. But yeah, that's what I want to say the legislation that might be passed. Everybody sees the whistleblowers coming out now. There's a reason why all the whistleblowers are coming out now is because there's legislation and laws that were passed that allows them to come out and talk about what they want to talk about without getting prosecuted. And there might be more legislation passed soon and shit's going to change. So that's cool. That's what I want to talk about. That's it, yeah.
Speaker 1:Cool.
Speaker 5:All right.
Speaker 1:Stevie.
Speaker 4:No, it's just crazy man. I'm kind of I am sold on a lot of this Mothman stuff. I think it. I think these sightings are at least maybe 70% of them couldn't be valid in my opinion, but I do think that these, you know, they did see what they saw and you know, I mean you pulling up that, that map with all these numerical oh my God, and you know sites to it.
Speaker 4:Yeah, it was just kind of fascinating. That is crazy. Yeah, I do think these people are seeing certain things that you know. They and it seems like you know the stories are all kind of similar but there's some sort of slight difference in perception but it seems like it's all the same kind of subjects surrounding the content. But I do think I don't know if it's an angel, I don't know if these are angels, I don't know if these are demons, I don't know if these are extraterrestrials, interdimensional beings, you know celestial bodies, some sort of supernatural event that's taking place.
Speaker 4:But I think it either has something to do. I think it has something leading towards like the chaos side of things. I know that there's like things we can justify. That is on the good side, which I'm, I can attest to. But I do think that, especially following like the curse and the cornstalk event, as far as his curse and everything like that, but it kind of plays, the story plays out that maybe this is something of some sort of darkness that we kind of semi understand. I like Louise. I also like Louise interpretation of hollow earth and and and high grade tech and and certain things like that, especially when he brought up like Falcon from like the, you know, like the Avengers or something like that, which is kind of cool. It's super cool to think about oh.
Speaker 2:I just remembered, like Falcon, also like his, his goggles that he wears are red Interesting.
Speaker 4:Now here's. My theory, though, is like what if Falcon was based off of Mothman?
Speaker 1:Instead of instead of like vice versa right.
Speaker 4:So it's kind of interesting, right, and when you look back at all of those superheroes with the supernatural events and and and and the powers that they have, it kind of like also trails back to something that we can maybe discuss later in a, in an, in an upcoming episode. You know of, like, you know what abilities did these you know, if you ever heard of the Nephilim, you know, or Nephilim, whatever you want to call it like, what abilities did these things have through integration and you know, we're not just talking about you know certain types of beings or angelic beings or whatever and integration with man, specifically women. But you know what if there was also integration with animals as well? This kind of leads into the crypt, cryptid, cryptozoology and and things like that. What if there was some sort of integration that did take place? That goes far beyond what we could possibly think? No, I like that.
Speaker 2:I like that because this all this made me think of how fallen angels are supposed to be within the earth, right? And there's always cave systems nearby, when these things and a lot of the descriptions are. You know, some people think that Mothman could be some sort of angel or fallen angel.
Speaker 4:Yeah, this Mothman voyage that I did take was awesome. It was a great time. I hope you guys also enjoyed as much fun as we've had today or tonight. But man, it made me think of, like I don't know, if you guys have seen the movie Legion. Have you seen the movie Legion kind? Of brought me back to like those kind of times right, so so.
Speaker 1:Michael.
Speaker 4:Michael's walking throughout the movie, you know, as a humanoid being right, so he's. It's hard to decipher if he's human or if he's angelic or what are this or that, but you know he's something that's different. His, his, his stature is completely different than a human, based off of knowledge, right, and so he's not something that came here with wings or this or that, but but at some point he does, you know, show those capabilities, right. So very interesting stuff. I can't wait to kind of dive into another episode that we can get into. Super cool stuff. Had a great time, guys, lots of love, man, but that's it for me.
Speaker 5:So yeah, thank you guys for following every, but we're getting more and more viewers every episode now and that hasn't happened yet. Now we're doing it finally. So I just want to say that is very, we're very thankful for even one more viewer, and how it's fun to do this. We love this Absolutely. I appreciate it. Yeah man.
Speaker 4:Yeah, man, I appreciate it. So we thank everyone for tuning in. This was an awesome episode. Jam packed, Louie. You did a great job. Brother, Love you. Thank you so much, and if you haven't followed us already, go ahead and do so Again. If you haven't shared it with your friends, get on there. Hit that share button. It's too quick.
Speaker 1:Get it up and going.
Speaker 4:Again, thank you for the follows from everybody that you know did tune in tonight. Very awesome stuff. You're a huge support. We thank you so much.
Speaker 3:I gotta give you, I gotta give you my outside looking and kind of perspective.
Speaker 5:The bananas.
Speaker 3:Kind of the bananas All right. So I think overall I'm going with like a social contagion kind of theory.
Speaker 5:Oh yeah, dude, I like you know what I could. I could agree with that in a way for sure.
Speaker 3:So I'm not saying that it's false on its face. I feel like that something had to have happened. Every legend, every everything in folklore started from something.
Speaker 4:Sure, absolutely. Well, that's the definition of mythology, right as you start from an origin and there's some sort of imagination that does take place through some sort of I'm saying that.
Speaker 3:I'm saying that in this case, I think that it's a social contagion that didn't live up to a financial gain in the area.
Speaker 5:Oh man, you're saying it's trying to be a. I see, okay, all right.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it makes sense. Yes, Because what do?
Speaker 3:you know about Point Pleasant? What do you know about West Virginia Mothman? Yeah, cornstalk.
Speaker 5:Mothman and incest?
Speaker 3:No, you know incest Mothman and John Denver, and that is it.
Speaker 5:West Virginia.
Speaker 2:I like I probably wouldn't disagree if this happened starting in the 90s. So I'm going with one, because it happened in the 60s Like I will go with it.
Speaker 3:I will go one step further. I'll go one step further and break apart from my logical thinking and say all of that being said, if you look at missing persons maps versus a tunnel system within the United States, you will find that the better portion of 70% of all missing persons cases are within 10 miles of a cave system in America.
Speaker 1:Now we got.
Speaker 3:Sean.
Speaker 1:All right, I didn't think you were going to get Sean. That was deep, bro, I didn't think you were going to get him.
Speaker 5:That was. He's on track.
Speaker 4:Sean's on track, sean's on track. I mean fucking the judge, hit the whatever the mallet of the thing.
Speaker 3:It's super, super disturbing.
Speaker 5:Missing 411, baby boy. No, it's really fuck. I wish I had.
Speaker 3:I feel like I need to be Jamie right now and pull up like dude. So hey, anybody's listening?
Speaker 5:go look up missing 411. It's all in the national parks of the United States of.
Speaker 3:America. It's really fucking scary, it's disturbing.
Speaker 2:It's the kind of shit. The next, our next pod. Possibly we can do on the something like that where it's the cave systems and weird shit that happens. Because I know Jesse I don't know if Jesse's watching all of it I've been watching that Elier Documentary, elier Dude. That's kind of what made me want to do Mothman.
Speaker 5:but like I know, I know, I know, dude, I, dude, I, I, I stopped. I could tell I stopped watching it. I had to go to work, naturally. And then I you kept saying shit and I'm like I know he wants to work than I have. I know you watch more than I did. Dude, it's such a trippy show, dude.
Speaker 3:That's the kind of shit. That's the kind of shit that really fucks me up is that the majority of missing person cases are all around national parks, and national parks tend to have some kind of connected system Mammoth National Park. So I visited Mammoth National Park and went through the cave system of Mammoth National Park and it took us. So me and my family spent eight and a half hours. Do you understand how? On?
Speaker 3:eight and a half hours and what would get them no, in the mammoth national cave system. We were underground for eight hours, jesse, what the fuck.
Speaker 5:That's a lot. Okay, let me tell you this I've climbed the highest one, the highest peak in the front of Las Vegas, that's the it's called Turtle Head Peak. It's the most treacherous climb. If you climb it up the face I climb that it takes me about three and a half hours to four and a half hours, depending, do you? You went into a cave system for eight and a half hours.
Speaker 3:I changed my batteries twice in my helmet. I had it off for over two hours. I was with my family. That's disturbing. I was like 14 years old, did you? Are like 14?
Speaker 5:They're gonna say something earlier than that.
Speaker 4:Jesus.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 5:Keep going.
Speaker 2:No, man, no, no, no, keep going, we've been, it's. We're totally off topic now.
Speaker 5:Did you see Moth man? No?
Speaker 3:I'm just no, but I can. I didn't see Moth man, but I can definitely understand where shit pops up, that there is no way you could possibly understand what you're looking at and not have the resources.
Speaker 2:Yeah, no, I mean stuff.
Speaker 5:No, you're describing the movie the Descent, where they all, the females, the girls, go into the dude, fuck that cave system and then they get fucking eaten by the people that dwell in the cave. Fuck that there is a okay bottom line before this all ends Louis, been watching Hellier? We're talking about cave systems. There is beings that dwell in the cave systems in the United States and throughout the world and that can lead to hollow earth. There's these weird things maybe that are also cannibal. A lot of them are cannibals.
Speaker 4:Listen, let's, we could. We could move on. I mean, we can talk about the sword night Crazy.
Speaker 1:I think we're gonna know.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I think we have to be done for another time. The cup is filled. My cup is runneth over.
Speaker 4:Okay, thank God. Hey guys, I had a great time. It was a lot of fun Again, folks, if you had listened to what I said back five minutes ago, that share and follow this fucking podcast and do better and better. Yeah, we appreciate everything. This was a lot of fun, man, we got like six followers. I think this episode awesome stuff. We're progressing, we're moving forward, we're seeing the support. We love it. I mean, we do.
Speaker 3:I hope you guys are fucking happy. I'm not gonna sleep tonight. I'm horrified. This shit makes me so fucking nervous I have to drive home by myself on a dark ass road.
Speaker 4:I'm not driving home with you, son.
Speaker 3:Get fucked I hate, you.
Speaker 5:He's gonna drive home in such a dark road.
Speaker 4:But again, louis, thank you for a great show man. Thank you for an awesome topic. You really did very well. Show us a lot of cool things.
Speaker 3:If.
Speaker 1:I die.
Speaker 4:I'm with you, sean. Hey, you got a fan. My mother, mom back off, listen, hey guys. Meatloaf Mom. What was the meatloaf? Put me in the meatloaf mom. Oh you're the best she's gonna watch this episode till three in the morning.
Speaker 5:You're the shit, mom, patty.
Speaker 4:That's basically your second mother.
Speaker 5:Louis told me to say that, patty, so I would love to eat your meatloaf. I promise I would. I mean no, what the fuck?
Speaker 1:No no, no seriously.
Speaker 5:It was delicious.
Speaker 4:It was awesome. Stop All right everybody. We appreciate you tuning into this sloppy ass shit. We love you guys. Thank you, and this is the wise men out. Have a good night, everybody. God bless.
Speaker 3:America.
Speaker 1:What the fuck, Jesse.
Speaker 2:I would love to eat your sloppy ass meatloaf.
